Super Polishing

Super polishing refers to the “roughness“ of a surface and is completely independent of surface figure. Super polished surfaces are often required in applications where it is critical to reduce scattered light of optical elements, either in reflection or in transmission.

PWT started the SUPER POLISHING project since 2016. After research and development, it has been able to process products with roughness less than 2 angstroms, mass produce products with roughness less than 5 angstroms, and can provide Mirau white-light interferometer test report.
